It was a pleasure to present St Francis PCC a cheque for £13,492.00 awarded to them from Asda Foundation's Investing in Spaces and Places grant.
Tony, who's the facilities manager said" Our current kitchen is over 25 years old and has ceased to serve its purpose, this funding will go towards a brand new kitchen which will help with the groups that use the church regularly have the use of the kitchen facilities.
Groups such as Scouts, Guides, Nit and Natter, Sunday School, Dog Training, BaBY Baby Group, Flower arranging, Pilates, Judo and Archery.  This gives the people of all backgrounds and ages to unique activities on their doorstep"

EYFS explored our local area today and visited St Francis Church.
Rev. Bryn organised some wonderful activities that taught us all about the church and why it is a special place for Christians. The children were inquisitive and asked lots of questions. They developed their understanding of the world and learned lots of new vocabulary.
Thanks, Rev. Bryn!
